Global Healing who gave us a grant in March 2008 to purchase quality insecticide-treated mosquito nets so that every refugee household would have at least one net. Also for funding the livestock shed, latrine, a portion of orphanage building and furniture for orphanage (CCO). The grant was received September 2008.

A very special thank you to Americans For Philanthropy  for allowing Think Humanity to speak at their February 2009 dinner event in Alamo, California and to return and be on a panel in October 2009 at the Diablo Country Club in California. Thank you for the grant in February 2009 and the scholarship fund donation in May 2009.

Mountain View Rotary Club of Loveland, for fundraising for Think Humanity at their annual Hoedown event in April 2009.  100% went towards the purchase of 1,400 mosquito nets.

Red Empress Foundation for giving a grant  to Think Humanity in May 2009. 100% went towards the purchase of 300 mosquito nets.

Birthing Kit Foundation (Australia) for the grant for 200 birthing kits to give to expectant refugee women in the Kyangwali Refugee Settlement in Uganda.

Overlooked sold 200 malaria awareness t-shirts for World Malaria Day 2009. Their donation was received May 2009 and 100% of the donation went towards the purchase of 200 mosquito nets.

Thank you Overlooked for raising donations for 64 mattresses in  December 2009 to go to the girls at the Girls' Hoima Hostel. Read about the donation and  Wereje Benson, TH program manager's thank you letter on the Overlooked website.

Thank you Overlooked and founder Dallas Harris for raising money for mosquito nets for World Malaria Day April 25, 2009. T-shirts can still be purchased. Please buy a t-shirt to help us fight malaria. $5 will go to Think Humanity for each shirt sold (which will allow us to purchase a mosquito net)

Thank you Sycamore Creek Elementary School in Raleigh, North Carolina for holding a variety show where you held a refugee awareness night and as a result 342 pairs of Crocs were donated from the children and their families at Sycamore Creek Elementary Schooll.
